La Maison du Bassin’s restaurant has become one of Cap Ferret’s must-visit addresses. The cuisine is generous, convivial and deeply rooted in the region.

Designed for sharing, plates naturally find their way to the centre of the table: sea urchin tarama, tuna rillettes, cod fritters or generous slices of foie gras.

The menu celebrates seasonal produce and the pleasure of sharing : sea bass gravlax, artichoke carpaccio, linguine with king prawns and shrimp, the catch of the day, as well as a Black Angus burger or a mushroom risotto.

Meat lovers can savour a Duroc red pork chop. In the evenings, guests gather around the dinner table, while at weekends, lunches linger leisurely in the shade of the terrace.

And then there is the now-iconic dessert buffet, where guests are invited to help themselves again and again, just as they would in a holiday home, generous, indulgent and wonderfully relaxed.
